后經臨床觀察，病理剖檢及實驗室檢驗等，確診為大腸桿菌病，后對癥，取得了良好效果，現報告如下：

  一、發病情況：該養殖戶飼養的是美系白色獺兔，9月20日發現有8只體重約3.5公斤的母兔發病，22日發病母兔增加到18只，發病率為種母兔飼養量的38%,23日已有3只死亡，死亡率為16%.

  藥敏試驗結果為：對慶大霉素、氯霉素、氟哌酸高敏，對卡那霉素、痢特靈、鏈霉素中敏，對四環素、青霉素、磺胺嘧啶不敏感。

  五、防治措施。將病兔隔離飼養，死兔深埋，對兔舍進行徹底清掃?；饓A、百毒殺交替。另外加強通風，保持兔籠干燥。用人工鹽5-6克，病情嚴重者用蓖麻油10-15毫升，加溫水人工灌服，同時肌注慶大霉素2萬單位/公斤體重，每天2次。飼料中加入氟哌酸，連用4-6天。兔群穩定后，全群接種大腸桿菌滅活疫苗2毫升/只。

  六、小結。很多養殖戶在發現成年兔排出糞便小而堅硬時，只考慮是由于喂精料過多，青飼料不足，缺水等原因引起的便秘，而忽視了大腸桿菌作梗。所以筆者敬告廣大養殖戶，在獺兔發生便秘時，應借助科學診斷方法，作出正確診斷，以防誤診，造成更大的經濟損失。
